Edna Geneva Finley, born March 29, 1943 in Walker County Alabama left us on Saturday September 2nd, 2017 to reunite with her late husband Octave A. Finley.  They met while she worked as a car hop at Potters Drive In, Del City, OK. The bonds of their marriage lasted through times easy and difficult until they were separated by his passing in 2012.

Edna was an accomplished crafter, always keeping her hands busy with bead work, quilting, knitting, and many others.  She was also an accomplished archer and incredible frybread maker.

Edna was preceded in death by: her parents Gordon Murphy, Mary Watts Tyler, and Oather Tyler; Her sisters Ruby Cowns and Catherine Mosena; and daughter Tomie Finley

She is survived by siblings: Gerald “Boots” Murphy, Robert (Tommie) Tyler and Teryl (Dennis) Ragsdale, children Richard (Val) Inmee, Frank (Laurie), Oather “Dusty”, Angie Young, and Samantha; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The extended list of her family is difficult to name as she welcomed anyone who crossed the path of her life, her heart, and her family.

Rosary will be held at the Longhouse in St. Ignatius on Tuesday, September 5th at 7PM with service closing at 10AM on Wednesday September 6th and Mass to follow at 11AM.  Interment will be in the Snyelmn Sntmtmne in St. Ignatius, MT, next to her beloved husband.
