Jacki Lynn Brown

Jacki Lynn Brown, 53,  passed away March 11, 2024 in Coram, MT. She was affectionately known as Jake to her friends and family. 

She was born March 5, 1971 in Helena, MT to Gerald Brown & Victoria Lumpry Brown. 

Jacki spent her youth in Helena, MT and attended school there. She married the love of her life David Fortin in 2006. Jacki worked as a butcher at Perfect Cuts in Columbia Falls for 30 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. Jacki was very proud to have gotten a huge moose on one of her hunting trips. She also excelled in different crafts, including building a canoe, beading and basket making. 

She is preceded in death by her parents: Gerald & Victoria Brown; and sister: Robin Brown.

She is survived by her child: Camas Brown-Fortin; husband David Fortin, and siblings: Gerald Brown and Suson Lumpry.

Services to be held at the Long House in St. Ignatius with a Rosary on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 8 p.m. and Funeral on Saturday March 16, 2024 at 11 a.m.
