Jackie Leon Drowatzky passed away April 12, 2024 in the comfort of his home. He was born October 31, 1935 in St. Ignatius, MT. Jackie attended school in Ronan, MT and worked in sawmills most of his life. He worked in California, Oregon, Montana, and Indiana. He called everyone a friend (even if he couldn't remember their name.)
Jackie served in Germany during the Korean War and was very proud of his service in the 7th Army 12c Artillery Bat. Co. C.
He loved to hunt, fish, and be outdoors, and in his later years he loved going to Jackpots. He was also a proud member of the CSKT Tribe.
He is preceded in death by his father: Fredrick Joseph Drowatzky; his mother: Dellah McLoud Drowatzky Decory; His first wife: Florence E. Drowatzky; second wife: Juanita R. Drowatzky; and brother: Eugene Fredrick Drowatzky.
He leaves behind 2 sisters: Vernia Drowatzky and Glenna Smithson; 1 brother: Donald A. Drowatzky; his 3 children: Linda Brown, Leon Drowatky & Joseph F. Drowatzky; and 2 step-daughters: Marshea Shuller and Karen Burk; 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
