Jacqueline Ann Hunt 78, passed away at her home (Post Creek) St. Ignatius, Mt.  Saturday August 17th, 2013. Jackie was born December 30th, 1935 in Washburn, WI, to Tony and Harriet Molnaa. Jackie moved with her family to Richland, WA., in 1945. She graduated from Columbia High School in 1954 and worked various jobs in the Richland area. She met Ernest Hunt, thru his cousin Helen, and married in 1962. They made their home in Hall, MT where they operated  Flint Creek Lumber.  They were joined in 1962 by son Robert, in 1964 by daughter Julie and 1968 by son Russell. In 1968 they started ranching in the Hall area. In 1973 they moved to St Ignatius, MT. where they started Hunt’s Timbers and ranched.
Jackie was a people person. She enjoyed her community and many friends. Jackie knew no strangers, but her greatest love was her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. She was known as everybody’s “special angel”. She was also known to have made the best honey mustard in town.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Ernie, brother Jerry, parents, stepdaughter Sherry, grandson Brian and numerous other family and friends.
Jackie is survived by her children Robert Hunt, Julie Kuefler(Mike) and Russell Hunt(Susie). Stepdaughter Sandy Opp(Wes), Rick Seeman(Judy) , Larry Seeman(Sharry) , brother Richard Molnaa and a large extended family and many friends..
Viewing will be held at the Foster Funeral Home, St. Ignatius, Friday August 23, 2013.
Celebration of Jackie’s life will be held Saturday August 24th, 2013 at 3 PM in the United Methodist Church(located on Post Creek hill).
Potluck dinner will follow at the Leon Hall, Leon Road.
