Browning – Carol Faye “Sis” HomeGun, 53, passed away January 24 at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.

A member of the Blackfeet Tribe, she was born on May 29, 1961 in Browning to Clarence & Delores Home Gun.  She was raised and educated in Browning going to college at Blackfeet Comm. College, the U of M and MT State Univ.  in Bozeman.  

She worked for Rosco Black, at the St. Mary’s Lodge, as a seasonal fire fighter and ranched.  She enjoyed horseback riding, spending time with her family and friends, working and hanging out at Home Gun Ridge, her home that she was raised and grew up on.

Preceding her in death was her daughter Alexandra Home Gun, father Clarence Home Gun, Brothers Clem, Casey, and Peter Home Gun and a nephew Jeremiah J. Mittens.

Survivors include her mother Delores Home Gun, Daughter Paula M. Home Gun; granddaughters Angeline, Emma Lee, and Alexandra; sisters Valerie Home Gun, Lotti Home Gun, Catherine Home Gun, and Cecile Home Gun-Robinson; brothers Clyde Home Gun and David Home Gun as well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and cousins.
