Browning - James Oscar Flamand “Big Jim”, 60, passed away at Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 19, 2019. He was born on June 3, 1959, in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, to Lloyd Flamand and Donna Marie Zenzius Flamand and was raised and educated in Babb and Browning, Montana.
Big Jim married Maryann BullCalf on January 7, 1980, and worked in law enforcement, as a bus driver/mechanic, and fishing guide over the years. His interests and hobbies were hunting, fishing, riding ATV/4 x 4, and especially spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and family.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brother Clay Flamand, and sister Joy Dubray. He is survived by his wife Maryann; his children Billie (Dennis), James (Shantel), and Shelly Ann (Skylar); eight grandchildren; and brothers and sisters Cathy (Tom), Peggie (Lorne), Cheryl, Charlotte, DeeAnn (Roy), Manuel, Charlie (Sam), Clifford, Rick (Vivian), Moe and Henry. Funeral services were held August 26th at 11 am at Hook’s Hideaway, Babb, MT.
