Angela “Ang” Rose Gopher, 26, passed away on August 29, 2023 in Missoula MT. Ang was born in Ronan, MT to Marianne (Wally) Allard and Mike Gopher on December 17, 1996. She was the baby of this union. Angela spent her early years in St. Ignatius before moving to California to live with her Aunt Tena and Uncle Darrick Bova. Angela had the privilege to spend time with Phillip and Monique McDonald and her Auntie Rosalie. Angela attended school in St. Ignatius, Missoula, and attended Chemawa for a little while. Later Angela received her GED. Angela met Devon Moran around 2015 and remained together until her passing. They have two boys together Kai and Devon II. Motherhood came easy to Angela and she loved spending as much time with her boys as she could. Angela loved to travel and wanted to visit Trinidad and Tobago. She loved the song Safe and Sound by Capital City. A list of things she loved to do was: write in her journal, do her make up (she wanted to do her sisters eyebrows for them), trying new recipes, listening to music, Angela is preceded in death by her mother Wally, sisters Winter Hoops and Cass Gopher. Her grandparents Robert and Dorothy Gopher and Helen Espinosa. Angela is survived by her spouse Devon Moran, her children Kai and Devon II. Sisters: Flower Gopher, Michaelanne O’Reilly, Cec (Devin) Neely, and Carolyn Gopher. And our one and only brother Billy (Celestina) Gopher. Grandfather William Orr, nieces and nephews are: Winter Gopher, Kylie, Maddy, Wally, and Pie Pie O’Reilly; Audrina Gopher, Miah and Billy Neely; and Layanna Gopher. Her aunt Rosalie Little Light and Nunu Dave Benally. Outside of the immediate family, Angela is survived by a HUGE extended family from the Flathead Reservation and Hill 57 and that list would become a book of names.
