Beverly Vogel Brown Obituary

Beverly Joan Vogel Brown, 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Philipsburg, Montana, on June 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her husband and four children.

Beverly was born on November 27, 1937, in Butte, Montana, to Delores DePauli and Fredrick Vogel. She was raised and educated in Butte and Philipsburg, where she built a lifetime of friendships and memories.

On February 2, 1957, Beverly married the love of her life, Robert Harry Brown, on his 20th birthday. Together they shared nearly 70 years of love, devotion, and family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

Throughout her life, Beverly worked in a variety of roles, including at Huffman’s Grocery, Granite County Hospital, and the Sapphire Gallery in Philipsburg. No matter where she worked, she was known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and friendly smile.

Beverly found her greatest happiness in the simple pleasures of life—hunting, camping, fishing, tending to her beautiful yard and flowers, and, above all else, spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she never missed an opportunity to share her love, encouragement, and pride in their accomplishments.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delores and Frederick Vogel; her brother, Joseph Brusati; and her parents-in-law, Harry and Anne Brown.

Beverly is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Harry Brown; her four children, Delores Duvall and her husband, Kim, Robert Brown Jr., Lisa Brown, and Kevin Brown and his spouse, Brandi. She is also survived by her bonus daughter, Jennifer Dwyer. She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Young (Jim)and Sharon Bodak. Beverly leaves behind a remarkable legacy through her 18 grandchildren—Dana, Sean, Quinn, Chris, Doug, Jason, Megan, Jarred, Brandon, Carly, Reece, Maddie, Zach, Alaina, Amber, Kalli, Cassidy, and Tessa—as well as 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

Beverly will be remembered for her generous heart, quiet strength, love of the outdoors, her incredible love for her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and the deep devotion she showed to her family every day of her life. The memories she created and the love she gave will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that while she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, resilience, and family will never be forgotten.
