Brian Kickingwoman

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of our beloved, Brian Kickingwoman Jr. who passed away on September 24, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, MT. Brian was born to D. Lynn SpottedWolfe and Brian Kickingwoman Sr. on June 27, 1991 in Missoula, MT.

Brian is survived by, his significant other, Rosalyn Trottier, his mother Lynn, his father Brian Sr. & his wife Trish, his siblings; Gail Brown, Hope Kickingwoman, Lance Kickingwoman, Leonard Edmo Jr., Joseph Big Beaver Jr., Daniel Pepion, Jesselynn Pepion, Kyle Kickingwoman, Nadine Kickingwoman, Tristan Kickingwoman, and Davina Kickingwoman. Brian was blessed to be part of a large family, leaving behind his daughter Annelise, son Rhyder and his mom, Kaylabeth Charlo, many aunties, uncles and cousins.

Brian is proceeded in death by his infant son, Brown Kickingwoman, his brother Randy Brown, his maternal grandmother Joanne Racine, his uncle Jesse Butterfly, his paternal grandparents; Esther Agnes Kickingwoman and John Little Plume, his maternal grandfather Stanley SpottedWolfe.

Brian has a special place in his heart for Kaira Harrison and Billie Jo Myo who were also raised by his grandmother Joanne Racine. Together, this family made many many happy memories. Brian throughout the years remained in contact with and had a good relationship with his foster father, Jim.

Brian loved his family and made sure that we knew it. He was known to be a snappy dresser who cared about how he looked and this man surely did love his shoes. He was a compassionate, gentle spirited person who loved his nieces and nephews. No matter where he was, he maintained and nurtured his relationship with them by calling to check on them and to let them know how much he loved them. We will miss his laugh and his smile. We are comforted in the fact that Brian believes in our Lord and Creator, Jesus Christ.
