It is with profound sorrow and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Bryeanna Rae Brazill-Woken “Sweetgrass Woman” (born February 20, 1998), and her cherished child, Eleanor Rae Brazill-Woken “Sweetgrass Baby” (born February 5, 2026), who both passed on March 9, 2026.
Bryeanna was a devoted mother, a treasured daughter, sister and wife; a light in the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and her passionate deep love. A gifted artist, Bryeanna expressed herself through creativity and carried a deep passion for her work. She had a deep love for horses and all animals, finding connection and peace in their presence. Bryeanna was also proud of her Native and Irish heritage, which shone through in her passion, focus, and dedication in all that she did. Her greatest joy was her daughter, Eleanor, whom she loved beyond measure.
Blake was Bryeanna’s soulmate, with whom she shared a profound love that defies earthly bounds—a love rooted in deep connection, devotion, and partnership whose love blossomed within Eleanor.
Eleanor was a precious and beautiful soul who brought immeasurable love, warmth, and hope to our family. Though her time with us was far too short, she filled our hearts completely and will forever be remembered. In her tender strength, Eleanor carried forward the spirit of her mother and father with her red hair shimmering in the light—a reflection of the beauty and legacy she embodied.
Together, Bryeanna and Eleanor shared a bond that was unbreakable, a love that will continue to live on in all of us. Their absence leaves an unimaginable void, but their memories will forever be held close in our hearts.
They are survived by Eleanor’s father and Bryeanna’s husband, Blake Woken; his parents and Eleanor’s grandparents, Peter and Lois Woken; and sibling Alixander Woken, Eleanor’s uncle; Bryeanna’s mother and Eleanor’s grandmother, Kassandra Murphy-Brazill; Bryeanna’s father and Eleanor’s grandfather, Bryan Brazill; and great-grandfather Jack Brazill; and cherished family friend Gary Hunt.
Bryeanna is also survived by her siblings: Ryan (Denise) Brazill, Bruce (Angie) Brazill, Danielle (Saul) Crawford, Sierra Nault, Colleen Brazill, Bradley (Erica) Brazill, her twin Colt Brazill, Kiya Ironshell, Nikki Ironshell, and her younger siblings Xanderae, Khaleesi, Ivailiya, Isaak, and baby Mia.
A special recognition is held for her twin brother, Colt Brazill, whose bond with Bryeanna was lifelong, deep, and unbreakable.
She also leaves behind her special nieces and nephew, Kasie, Rylan, Amarra and Loyal, and Fox, along with many other beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members whose lives were touched by her and Eleanor’s love.
They were preceded in death by their grandmothers, Virginia Brazill, Kaye Brazill and Myrna Morrow; Bryeanna’s beloved Nana, Elaine Murphy; family friend Rae Hunt; and uncle Bradley Brazill.
Bryeanna and Eleanor will be so very missed. They were at the heart of our everyday lives—the laughter in our home, the love that filled our days, the moments that made life feel whole and meaningful. Bryeanna’s presence, her strength, her creativity, and her love as a mother, and sweet Eleanor’s precious spirit, brought a kind of joy that cannot be replaced.
Their absence is felt in every moment—in the quiet, in the spaces they once filled so completely. There are no words for the depth of this loss, but we carry them with us always—in our hearts, in our memories, and in the love that will never fade. They will forever be a part of who we are.
Though they are gone from our sight, they will never be gone from our hearts.
