Cassandra "Mooney" Jeanne McClure

Cassandra "Mooney" Jeanne McClure , 65, passed away on September 17, 2025. Mooney was born on July 26, 1960 in Polson, MT to Ester Gingras & Victor "Toosie" McClure.

Mooney grew up and attended school in Arlee with her dad, grandparents, aunties, uncles & numerous cousins. Mooney worked doing tree planting, fire fighting, and she also worked with headstart. She loved to spend her time making frybread, beadwork(keychains, earrings, lighter cases, pen covers, medallions, and pouches), picking huckleberries, and going camping. 

Mooney was preceded by death brother Tommy McClure; Father "Toosie" McClure; mother Ester Gingras; and grandparents, William & Margaret McClure. 

Mooney is survived by husband, Edward Stasso; sons, Thomas Steele, Michael Steele, and John Emery Steele; aunties, Dottie Cates, Rosemary Thomas, Mary Lou Sorrell; brothers, Frank Nicolai and Keith Nicolai; The family apologizes if anyone is missed as this has been a difficult time.

Funeral Service on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11 AM

Burial at Jocko Valley Cemetery with Final Meal to follow back at Arlee Community Center
