Charlie was born to Jack and Genevieve Morigeau on August 29, 1948 in St. Ignatius, Montana. He served the people on Tribal Council for four years. In his final days he was a dedicated tribal health transporter and enjoyed this job until the very end. Charlie was always there for the people, regardless of the situation.
Charlie’s hobbies revolved around his wife, children, and grandchildren. Whether that included their work, sports, and school activities. There wasn’t a more proud or dedicated Father or Papa. Charlie also loved being in the woods whenever the opportunity arose and in his younger years he hiked and explored the Mission Mountains. He knew every trail and path. Charlie was an avid collector of knives, guns and scarves.
He married Sandra Matt and later divorced and, in this union, brought forth three children. He then married Sally Addison (whom preceded him in death) and they had one son together. Charlie then met Jackie Spidel and they had four sons.
