Connie Mckinstry Obituary

Connie Louise Daniels McKinstry, age 74, passed away May 15, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 2, 1952, in Clarkston WA to Dick and Loretta Daniels. She was the oldest of 5 children
and cherished her big sister role to Sue, Shirley, Peg and Rich but through and through, was always a
Daddy’s girl! She was wrapped around his finger since day 1!
For over 45 years she worked as a waitress, cook, manager and her most rewarding was being a lunch
lady at Lolo School. She always took care of the special ones and each one truly knew how special they
were to her.
Throughout her 74 years, she touched many lives with her ability to bring all family together and to
make them feel welcome. Her love, traditions, and guidance gave us all the foundation to move forward.
She provided everyone she ever met with a sense of belonging and unconditional love.
Driven by her lover for her family and friends, her proudest role was Grandmother. Her 3 daughters
gave her 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren whom she shared a deep connection with each
one.
She is survived by her 3 daughters: Lori (Earl) Tiffany (Mark) Mikael Jo (Mike). Grandchildren: Trevor,
Brooke, Sawyer, Courtney, and Bailey. Great Grandchildren: Kyslee, Kiara, Brolynn and Brayden. Also,
her parents Dick and Loretta Daniels, sisters Sue, Shirley, Peg, and Brother Rich. Numerous additional
family members throughout Montana, Idaho and Washington.
Though her body was weary and she faced immense pain, her determination to be there for her family
never wavered. She was the strongest thread that tied the generations together, a guiding light who
taught us the true meaning of love and resilience.
She was our daily anchor, always making sure those consistent, loving phone calls to ensure everyone
was safe and happy regardless of how difficult her own days were.
Her painful battle is over and she is finally at peace. She taught her three girls how to love, how to
endure and how to stay connected. We are bound together by her eternal love. We love you more
Momma!
A Celebration of life will take place at a later date as cremation has taken place.
