Daniel Francis Bisson

Daniel Francis Bisson, age 73 of Ronan, passed away on November 17, 2025 in Schley, MT. Daniel was born on November 28, 1951 in Ronan, MT to Reno Swede Bisson & Verna Drowatzky. 

Daniel truly was a jack of all trades, from woodsman to construction. He would make great wood furniture. Daniel loved to draw, especially nature using watercolor. If you saw Daniel out in the woods you might’ve seen him hauling wood, camping at Mission Dam, fishing, cruising on the backroads or capturing nature’s beauty through a camera. Of course, can’t forget his western tv and movies on Grit TV. Another thing Daniel loved was his music and being around his people.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Reno Swede Bisson; sister, Diane Meeks; brothers, Fred and Michael Bisson. 

Daniel is survived by his mother, Verna; his children, Steven B Mikkelson, Charity Bisson, Dani Lee Bisson, Dov(Mary) Bisson, and Hans Christensen; Siblings, Randy(Christy) Bisson, Carrie(Tim) Cline, Geri(Paul) Sias, and Henry(Lana) Bisson; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Rosary on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 8 PM
Traditional Funeral Service on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11 AM
Burial to follow at Ronan Cemetery next to Bev Stokes and his brother, Fred Bisson.
