Daniel Merrick

Daniel Orin Merrick was born May 2, 1987 in Portalis, New Mexico to Shannon Crowson & Larry Merrick. He is survived by his parents and his brother, Austin Merrick.

His contagious smile and happy attitude always made anybody feel comfortable around him. Would always say hi and wave every time you see him on the streets or just passing by. That is just a small example of what Daniel was all about.

He had numerous jobs like we all have in our lives. When working at Fergies Pub, he was very passionate about his job that he did, cooking amazing food and doing it with a smile.

Daniel loved music, video games and especially his 3 dogs who were a huge joy to him and brought him tons of happiness. Anybody who worked with Daniel would hear his heavy metal music and could see the joy that brought him as well. He loved to share stories about things in his life and was very easy to talk to if you needed somebody. Daniel had so many great qualities about him and it would take weeks or months to describe every good about this amazing human being. Daniel had so many friends that looked up to him and admired him. Fun to be around and always gave off a positive vibe which made him very easy to talk to and be friends with. He was a perfect example of what a friend should be.

Daniel, you will be missed and it’s going to be hard walking around our small town of Hot Springs and not seeing your face. The impact you left on everyone that knew you will always be cherished and we all thank you for being in our lives. We love you very much, and hope to see you again one day!
