D. Blake Anderson, age 34, passed away on July 8th, 2024, in Los Angeles, CA. Born on July 17, 1989, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, he grew up with a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as fishing, swimming, camping, sledding, and snowboarding. Blake also participated in little league baseball, wrestling, and rollerblading during his youth. He carried his love for storytelling and poetry from elementary days throughout his life. Blake was a cherished father to his daughter, Revena D. Anderson, who was the pride and joy of his life. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Romero; stepmother Debra Tailfeathers; siblings, Earl P. Garcia, Savannah Duran, Tabitha Romero, Xavieriana Ornelas, and Matthew L. Anderson; brother-in-law, Daniel Ornelas; as well as his Uncle Ernest Reed & Aunt Eva Anderson, Uncle Edward & Aunt Karen Oats, Uncle Arthur & Aunt Carmen Romero, Uncle Lawrence & Aunt Theresa Saavedra; as well as multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. His partner in crime was his late brother, Andrew D. Anderson, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond in life and death. Blake was preceded in death by his father, D. Blake Anderson Sr.; brother, Andrew D. Anderson; and paternal grandparents, Henry Anderson and Nancy Rainingbird-Anderson; Maternal grandparent Wilfred Romero; niece D’ana and nephew Gabriel. A man of many interests, Blake enjoyed fishing and playing chess. Known for his protective nature, he was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
