Diane Racine Obituary

Diane Racine was born to Henry F and Elizabeth Akino Racine, September 9th 1951 in Browning Montana. She was raised on the Racine Ranch northwest of Browning. As a child she enjoyed riding horses and trying to trick ride. She was happiest in the spring when all the babies were out and about, she was a good mother to quite a few orphan calves and colts. If a horse wanted to buck she was game. She worked at the Blackfeet pencil factory as well as the Big Shy Cafe in Cut Bank, there were a couple other places but then she moved to Ronan about 60 years ago.
When she first got to the Flathead, she met and married Wes Carpentier, they were together for quite a few years then later divorced.  She was a day care worker and cook , which she did for a while then she was a bartender and a bar manager at the Second Chance Saloon. Then it was time to move on, she met and married Gene Beaverhead they were together quit a few years then divorced. From that marriage, came one son Marcus Beaverhead and she raised Michael Alexander, Deidra Joseph and and Devona Moreno.
Diane had three children before moving to the Flathead; Angela Spottedeagle, Shawn Schlensker and James Schlensker.
Diane is preceded in death by her Father Henry F Racine and her mother Elizabeth Akino Racine and 4 brothers Franklin Eugene Belgarde, Darryl H Racine, Carlyle Racine, and Carl Andrew Racine.
Diane has one remaining Brother Harlan Racine, and a sister Madeline (Bunny) Billy.
