Dwain Edwards

Dwain Harrison Edwards, age 61, passed away on February 12, 2025 peacefully at his home in Polson, MT. He was born on January 11, 1964 in Billings, MT to Oshel & Bette Edwards. 

Dwains, affectionately known as Hoss, was raised in Egan, SD and Arlee, MT. He attended Arlee High School until joining the Army  in 1982 and received his diploma while in service. In September 1984, Dwain married Linda Barnett, the two were each other's lifelong companions and friends. Dwain accomplished many things in his life; he worked his family farm, joined the service (1982- 1991) where he was a SGT. E-5 U.S. Army, over the road truck driving, worked for Laborers Union Local 1686 and then city of Polson. He loved to spend his time loving on his fur babies, riding his Harley's, hunting, fishing, barbecuing, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. 

Dwain is preceded in death by his parents, Oshel and Bette Edwards, sister Lesle Lynn Henderson and father-in-law, Lester Barnett. 

Dwain is survived by his wife; Linda Edwards, 3 children; Lesle(Bobby) Jellison, Dillon Edwards, and Ashley(Benjamin) Mittag, Two grandchildren; Robert James and Secily Louise. 

Military Honors and Celebration of Life to be held on July 26, 2025 at 3 PM @ Lake View Cemetery in Polson, MT. Meal to follow at Boettcher Park.
