Elaine Rae Peterson

Elaine Rae Peterson, age 63 passed 8away in Benefis Peace Hospice in Great Falls on May 29, 2026.

Elaine was born on April 19, 1963 in Granite City Illinois  to James C, Radasa and Louise I Radasa (Todd). In her early childhood she was raised and educated in East Glacier before completing her schooling in Browning, MT.

On June 11, 1994, Elaine married Floyd K Peterson. Through her life, Elaine cooked for Summit, local restaurants and for 2 years cooked for wildland fire camps. She spent 1.5 years managing a casino before her health eventually prompted her to retire.  

She enjoyed many things in life such as being in the kitchen cooking, playing puzzle games, having her grandkids around and also camping.

Elaine is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her children, Natasha L. Radasa, Dakota J Radasa, Shawn Marie J. Radasa and Trenton D Marceau. 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters, Cletus RunningWolf, Dawn Rutherford, June RunningWolf, Rhoda Radasa, Cora Radasa, Kevin Radasa and Kim Radasa.

Wake begin Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Glacier Homes in Browning, MT. Rosary was held Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 7 PM at Glacier Homes, MT. Funeral services were held Monday, June 8, 2026 at Little Flower Perish with burial that followed at Willow Creek cemetery.
