Helen Elaine DayChief

Helen Elaine DayChief 68, passed away at Great Falls Benefits on June 2nd, 2021. Helen was born on November 10th, 1952 in Browning MT to Grinnell DayChief and Emil DayChief Jr. She was raised in Badger Creek, and educated in Great Falls (college) and Dahls Beauty College. Helen was a beauty instructor at Dahl’s Beauty College, worked as an Accountant for the Great Falls Tribune, Valier Jom Director, and Blackfeet Tribe – Water Department. Helen enjoyed playing Bingo at the casino, horse racing, barrel racing, keno machines, and going on picnics with her family. Helen preceded in death by parent’s Charle’s Hazel (Roundman) Weasel Head, Galen Charles Weasel Head, Dale Timothy, Thea Thompson, Jason CalfRobe, Myrne CalfRobe.  Survived by Grinnell and Emil Jr., seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and sisters Vera Weasel Head and Brenda (Carl) Spotted Bear. Services to be held at Heart Butter Community Center, wake June 28th, 2021, Rosary June 29th, 2021, Mass June 30th, 2021 at 11 am.
