Hope A. Litzsinger, aka “Hope-ster” passed away peacefully at Pioneer Health in Dillon, MT on 6-27-26 at the age of 81.
Hope was born in St. Louis, MO to Freda Fuller and Charles Sheldon. She was raised in St. Louis, attended Lindbergh High School, and Webster University before moving to Montana and attending the University of Montana where she graduated with her Masters.She is preceded in death by her husband William Litzsinger. Hope had a love for horses, and found endless joy in riding them for both show, and for pleasure. Through her career as a teacher, she was an advocate for local youth in Arlee, spreading knowledge to all who entered her classroom. Hope was cherished by neighbors and community members, and will be deeply missed by all the lives she has touched with her great generosity, caring nature, and adopted grandmother-like qualities.
