Jerome Champine

Jerome “JC” Champine, age 75, passed away at Kindred Hospital - First Hill in Seattle, WA on March 12, 2025. Jerome was born May 3, 1949 in Browning, MT to Walter Champine & Gladys Reevis Champine. Jerome grew up in Browning, MT then later traveled to Yakima, WA. From 1960 to 1980s he worked as a Wildland Fire Fighter. After 1980 to early 2000, he worked as a Seasonal Farm Worker, picking cherries and apples. Jerome loved spending his past time at horseraces, spending time or special events with his family, and spending time on Seattle Peir. He also loved his Chinese food cafes. 
Jerome was preceded in death by Mother, Gladys Reevis Champine; Father, Walter Champine; Sister, Bonnie Champine-Wells; and Daughter, Linda Lee Calderon.
Jerome is survived by his two children, Lisa Champine and Gladys Champine; Brother, Dale Champine; Sister, Bonnie Wells; and his 10 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren. 

Services to be held at Old Eagle Shields in Browning starting March 18, 2025. Rosary Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 7 PM. Funeral service at Little Flower Parish, Thursday, March 20, 2025, burial to follow at Willow Creek Cemetery.
