John H. Trimble, age 80 of Arlee, Montana passed away on January 8, 2024 surrounded by his children at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena, Montana. John was a proud father, grandfather, devoted brother, and a loyal friend.
John was raised and attended school in Clinton, Indiana. He married Carla Wallace in 1963 with whom had three children, Julie, Amy, and John. Thirty years later he married Kate Carver and had two more children, Clayton and Mary.
John was 19 years old when he became a member of Indiana Carpenters Union as an Apprentice, with talent and hard work he achieved Master Carpenter. In 1972 he was hired by Owens Corning to insulate power plants throughout the US and in 1990 he managed a team to remove the asbestos from the World Trade Center towers.
His favorite pastimes were golf, fishing, hunting, and conversation. He loved living in Montana where he enjoyed great friendships, and he especially loved his dogs.
John was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Helen Trimble. He is survived by his children; Julie Fix (Loren), Waunakee, WI; Amy Trimble (Craig Schroeder), Fargo, ND; John Trimble, Arlee, MT; Clayton Trimble (Mandy), Arlee, MT; Mary Trimble, Round Up, MT; his two brothers Richard Trimble (Sandra) and William Trimble (Christine), Indiana.
Rosary Service will be held Friday at 7:00 pm, January 12th and Mass at 10 am, January 13th at St. Ignatius Mission Church, 300 Beartrack Avenue, St. Ignatius, MT 59865.
