Lanneil BigSam Fisher Obituary

Lanneil Lynel BigSam Fisher

March 25, 1973 – August 27, 2025

We gather here today with heavy hearts, to celebrate the life of Lanneil BigSam Fisher, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on March 25, 1973, to Rosanne Sarceeman and Bruce BigSam. Lanneil's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and an unyielding spirit. She was raised by Mickey Fisher, who adopted her and gave her a loving home since she was 9 months old. Lanneil leaves behind a legacy of love, woven into the hearts of those who knew her.

Lanneil was a woman of immense love, who considered many friends as close as family. To her siblings, William “lil mick” Fisher (Rikki Fisher), Amber Rae Fisher-Porter (Chris Porter) and baby sister Meggan Rochelle Fisher, she was a confidante and a source of unwavering support. Her greatest joy came from her children: Sheldon AM Fisher, Wendell L Red Cloud Jr, and baby Leland Juniper Ambrose Red Cloud and her one and only daughter Mykala Michelle Fisher. She poured her heart into raising them, and her love knew no bounds. Special mention must be made of her oldest grandson, Shel’Dayne Lynel Fisher, whom she raised and cherished as her own. Her grandbabies Shel’Dayne,She’Dyn, Josayla, Joseidon, Makiya, Tyus, Tuff, TreDestyne, Rose, were the apples of her eye, each holding a special place in her heart.

Lanneil is preceded in death by her mother Roseanna Sarceeman-Fisher, her dad Bruce BigSam, and her handsome Son Sheldon Anfernee Mykal Fisher, grandson Braven RedCloud, grandma Sally BigBeaver. Numerous aunts and uncles and other family members. She is survived by her dad Mickey Fisher, ex husband Wendell “woody” RedCloud, daughter Mykala Fisher, sons Wendell “Weezer” RedCloud, and Leland juniper Ambrose RedCloud. And her many nieces and nephews Mckirah, McKaryss, Bebe Mick “William”, Mirrik Fisher, Ja’Hya, JaVyn, Beautiful, Golden Porter, Jon Wayne, Violet “Ciel” Charlo, Nico Fisher.

Lanneil's passions were as vibrant as her personality. She loved cruising in her purple Chevy low rider, grooving to classic rock and classic R&B. If you were to describe Lanneil, loving would be the perfect word. She was a tiny woman with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Even though she was a teen mom, she raised her children with the help of her ex-husband Woody. To this day, it's hard not to associate the two together; even though they are no longer a couple, "Lanneil and Woody" is just how people identified them.

If I was to sit here and describe lanneil, I could use the classic rock songs she loved from Tom Pettys. “She’s a good girl, loves her mama, loves horses, and American too” to “She’s a joker, she’s a smoker, she’s a midnight toker”

Lanneil's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and friendship. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts. As it says in 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." Lanneil embodied this scripture, and her love will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in peace."
