Laydence Richard Running Crane

Laydence Richard RunningCrane, "Bubba" or "Bud" to his loved ones, passed away at the age of 19 on September 11, 2025 in Kanab, UT. Laydence was born on March 21, 2006 in Browning, MT to Lance RunningCrane & Richelle Jackson. 

Laydence spent his early years in Cut Bank and Great Falls, before moving with his family to Missoula in Junior High. Laydence attended Hellgate Middle School and then Big Sky High School. At the time of his passing, he was attending Missoula College and was expected to graduate with the Class of 2026. Laydence worked at Famous Daves and Freddy's Missoula Concrete. Laydence loved spending his time hiking, hanging with his family & friends, and riding his motorcycle. 

Laydence was preceded in death by, mother Richelle Jackson and maternal grandparents. 

Laydence is survived by his father, Lance RunningCrane; sister Layla RunningCrane; paternal grandparents, Glenn RunningCrane and Laurine WildGun; and many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. 

Wake began on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Foster Funeral Home in St Ignatius, MT. Then moved to Glacier Homes on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 with rosary held at 7 PM. Closing was on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 1 PM followed by cremation. A celebration of life will be held around spring -early summer 2026 to also celebrate Laydence and his mother's heavenly birthdays.
