Leo SureChief Jr

Leo "Chugs" Sure Chief passed away at the age of 75 on January 29, 2025 in Great Falls, MT.

He was born on July 22, 1949 in Browning, MT to Leo & Margaret Sure Chief. He spent his youth on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Heart Butte and Big Badger. He attended Heart Butte School from 7th grade through high school. and was a proud member of the Blackfeet Tribe. Chugs enjoyed model cars, Zuko, rodeos, breaking horses, ranch work, and bare back riding.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Malcolm "Rabbit."

He is survived by his sister: Leona, his wife Christine and children and grandchildren. 

His services will begin Monday, February 3, 2025 at Glacier Homes in Browning, MT. Rosary Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 7 PM and Funeral Service at Faith Dominion Center in Browning, MT
