Linda Pepion Obituary

Linda was born on May 6, 1947 in Browning, Montana to LeRoy and Eileen Pepion. Linda passed away in Great Falls, Montana on June 19, 2025.

Linda, a member of the Blackfeet Tribe, grew up on a ranch/farm near Valier. She attended school at the Badger Fisher school. Linda was a member of 4-H and was very proud of her Blue Ribbon livestock. She was faithful as a member of the Catholic Church. She was a happy person with a bright smile and sense of humor. Linda enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She loved family get-togethers including sightseeing, picnics, camping, berry picking, shopping, listening to music, and contributing to family with household chores. She was generous to those around her and was never known to complain in spite of the many struggles she faced during her life.

Family was very important to Linda and she loved hers very much. She especially enjoyed holidays when family would gather and they could all be together again, if only for a short time.

Linda was preceded in death by her brothers Dennis (1964), Lee (2013) and both her parents in 2012. After her parents’ deaths, Linda moved to Great Falls to live with her sister Carol until her health necessitated a move to the Benefis Eastview Senior Care Center. Carol was dedicated to the safe care and fulfillment of her needs with much love, compassion, and companionship.

Linda is survived by her siblings Howard, Carol, Marilyn, Don (Debbie), Ken (Leslyn), and Mike (Liz); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was loved by her entire family and her quiet presence and resilience were inspirational life lessons. She will be dearly missed.
