Mary Agnes Michel Matt

Mary Agnes Michel Matt, affectionately known as Pooh, passed away on April 8, 2025 in Missoula, MT, at the age of 45. Mary was born on March 10, 1980 in St Ignatius, MT to Eugene Michael Matt & Susan Elaine Sherwood. Mary was also raised in St Ignatius while attending school at Two Eagle in Pablo, MT. Mary later went on to marry Brain "Boydo" Boyd. 

Mary worked harvesting potatoes with her mom, aunties Twerp and Bear at Bill Hawker's Farm. She also enjoyed doing camp crew. Mary loved spending her past time coloring, picking huckleberries, watching movies, and spending time with family, especially her babies. She was always helping others, just like her mom Sue. 

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Sue; father Gene; Husband Boydo; Aunties Twerp and Clara; and Papa Paul. 

Mary is survived by her children; Imani, Catherine, Elaina, Sierra, Adrianno, and Xzavier; Siblings, Michael (Angela) Matt, Mary (Frank) Parker, Carol Ann Matt, Anasta McDonald, Michael Ann Mahseelah, and Abliene Matt.
