Minnie Zeiler Wheeler, 84, passed away at Logan Health Center in Kalispell, MT on April 6, 2024.
She was born in St. Ignatius, MT on August 13, 1939 to Blanche & John Zeiler. Minnie was affectionately known as "Lil' Dumplins" to her friends and family.
She spent her youth on the Flathead Indian Reservation where she obtained her 8th grade education, but she was a woman of many trades. Minnie met her soulmate, George Patrick "Skip Wheeler" who taught her many of her trades. Later in life, Minnie found a partnership with Tom Lozeau.
Minnie was an avid beader, until she started losing her vision. She enjoyed fishing with her grandkids and spending time with her good friends Faye & Donnie, as well as her furbabies. She also enjoyed taking rides with her son James and visiting family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Blanche & John Zeiler; siblings: Jim, Bob, Paul, Hank, Frank, and Elsie; her children: Lyle, Charlotte, and Lloyd; and granddaughter Belinda; and grandson Johnny.
She is survived by her 4 children: John (Wanda) Wheeler, Marlene Rorvick, Margaret (Mark) Wheeler, and James Wheeler; she leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 36 great grandchgildren.
Minnie was the last of her siblings to pass.
Services are to be held at Arlee Community Center. Rosary to be held Tuesday, April 9 at 8 p.m. and Funeral Services at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.
