Naomi was a resident of Arlee MT., Naomi exceled in her academics and athletics. She developed a love for the game of lacrosse and getting accolades left and right in the sport. This led her to play collegiate lacrosse at Aquinas College. She loved hiking, hitting the pow wow trail, travelling across turtle island and the world, spending time with family, reading hundreds of books, listening to audio books/podcast, and eating poutines. Naomi had recently got more involved in Anishnaabe culture with starting her bundle, she also was following in her Nokomis and Mom’s footsteps as becoming an entrepreneur with her vending and crafting at pow wows. Finally, her last job was allowing her to uplift indigenous communities by encouraging people to take an active role in voting. Naomi is survived by her beloved papa Albert Plant Sr (predeceased by her grandmother Delphine Charlie Plant), her parents Albert and Aileen Plant Jr, Auntie Vernita Charlie and Uncles Gary and Louie Plant Sr. (predeceased by Auntie Doreena Plant) brothers David and Albert Plant III. She is also survived by her Nokomis\grandma Martina Osawamick, and Rob Fox. Finally survived by her first cousins Scott, Leo, Clara Charlie, Jacob Stenstrum, Trinity Goggles, Louie Plant jr., Xiamara Hewankorn, Karaka, Mandaago, Hope, Zaagidwin, Clayton, Autumn, and Ozzie Osawamick Jr. Naomi will be remembered by many Great Aunties, Great Uncles, cousins as well as many friends/teammates, and her special friend Zeus.
