Phillip Dale ManyHides, "Sass" passed away at St. Pat's Hospital in Missoula, MT on October 22, 2023 at the age of 58. He was born November 4, 1965 in Browning, MT to Wayne ManyHides and Jolou Smith. 

Phillip was raised in Red Blanket Hill, Starr School Community, and Browning. He earned his G.E.D in Missoula, MT. Phillip spent his life with his common law spouse, Gail Benson. 

He worked as a director of Missoula Indian Center, he also was a fire fighter foreman and was a smoke jumper for Missoula Forest Service. He enjoyed singing Powwow songs, stick game, spending time with family and friends

ManyHides, Margaret "Maggie" ManyHides, Wayne ManyHides, Joy Smith, Ned Tomahawk, Gail Benson, Sam & Delimma Benson, Peter Isaac Smith, Virginia Edwards Smith, Roberta Alice RunningWolf, Jenny ManyHides, Alberta Sorrell, Steven Rodrigues, Sukaki ManyHides, Rainy Patrick ManyHides.

He is survived by his children: Clayton (Fonda) ManyHides, Chelsea (Eric Hunt) ManyHides; along with 6 grandchildren.
