Richard Leo Sinclair Sr. “Dick” 90 years young
Richard passed away peacefully at his home surround by his loving family on November 13, 2025. Richard was born in Browning, MT on January 16, 1935 to Richard D. Sinclair and Pearl Sinclair. He was raised by his grandparents Lawerence and Millie Salois after his parents had passed.
Richard was raised in Birch Creek, Montana. He went to school in Birch Creek, Heart Butte, and Graduated from Browning High School in 1953.
Richard was happily married to his life-long sweetheart Arlene Racine Sinclair on December 4, 1954 in Cardston, Alberta. They have been blissfully married for 71 years.
Richard started working for Great Northern Railroad Company at the young age of 19. He retired after many years of service to the railroad on March 3, 1993.
Richard enjoyed telling and hearing jokes, Richard was an avid storyteller, with stories from his many adventures, He loved to hunt, one of his loved treasures was hunting camp with his uncles, brothers and sons, He collected aluminum cans so his grandchildren can go to the Kalispell Fair. Going to the rodeo at the Kalispell fair another one of his favorites with his youngest daughter Victoria, He enjoyed family outings, camping, picnics, family gatherings and family dinners. He loved Indian days where him and his family ran the Sinclair’s family food stand; they were famous for their Indian tacos. They also sold fireworks for many years, He loved to read western books, watch western movies, rodeos, and bigfoot documentaries. He loved to eat drymeat, chocolate turtles, cinnamon and butterscotch hard candies, apple pie and maple nut ice cream, he loved fried chicken and blueberry pancakes. His true love for food was his wife’s homemade bread, banana bread, and cinnamon rolls. He was famous for his magic meatloaf.
He was preceded in death by His parents Richard and Pearl Sinclair, His grandparents Lawerence and Millie Salois, Brothers Eddy & George, Sister Marlene, Sons Ralph & Dwight, Daughter Lyla, Grandson Richard Dale.
He is survived by his wife Arlene, and his children Georgia & Stormy, Richard & Christy, Keven & Dan, Shane & Natalie, Frank & Rhonda, Victoria & Josh, Skylar & Shelly, Serenity and they considered Dr. Mary DesRosier as one of their own. Grandchildren- David, Kayla, Sylvia, Kenny, April, Lashonda, Rhrista, Jencer, Todd, Danielle, Cherish, Emmy, Daniel, Natalie, Darick, Destiny, Skylar, Aspen, Bobbie, Baby Shane, Breanna and Tandy; 55 Great Grandchildren + 1 on the way; 13 Great-Great Grandchildren + 1 on the way; Brother Merlin and Sister Gaylene; His many nieces and nephews were considered their children. Their home was always open, warm and welcoming to the many that came and lived with them.

Wake Services: Old Eagle Shields Center, November 15, 2025 to November 18, 2025
Rosary Services: November 17, 2025 at 6:00pm at the Old Eagle Shields Center
Funeral Service: November 18, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Little Flower Parish
Burial Services: Willow Creek Cemetery, Browning, MT; Dinner to follow at Old Eagle Shields Center, Browning, MT
