Richelle Jackson

Richelle "Shell" Lee Jackson, age 36, passed away on September 11, 2025 in Kanab, UT. Richelle was born on June 15, 1989 in Browning, MT to Richard Jackson & Fay Gray Jackson. 

Richelle was raised in East Glacier Park, MT and graduated from Browning High School as Class of 2007. Lance "Odie" RunningCrane, was Richelle's lifelong loving partner and father of her children. Richelle worked for AniMeals and as a personal care attendant. She loved all animals and was often doing anything to protect them. Richelle took pride in her tattoos and sugar skull collection. Family and education was most important to Richelle. 

Richelle was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents; father, Richard Jackson; mother, Fay Jackson; and son, Laydence RunningCrane.

Richelle is survived by her daughter, Layla Fay RunningCrane; lifelong partner, Lance "Odie" RunningCrane; brother, Cody Jackson; and sisters, Roda BirdRattler & Ora RunningWolf. 

Wake began on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Foster Funeral Home in St Ignatius, MT. Then moved to Glacier Homes on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 with rosary held at 7 PM. Closing was on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 1 PM followed by cremation. A celebration of life will be held around spring -early summer 2026 to also celebrate Richelle and her son's heavenly birthdays.
