Ricky "Shay" Alan Whitworth

Ricky Alan Whitworth "Shay" passed away at the age of 62 in the comfort of his home. He was born April 8, 1962 to Clarence Whitworth and Caroline Pierre-Whitworth. 

Shay spent his youth on the Flathead Indian Reservation around the Camas Prairie and Hot Springs area. He attended high school at Two Eagle High School. Shay married the love of his life Antoinette Whitworth and the couple spent their lives together until Antoinette passed away.  Shay worked as a tribal police officer, legal aid, dispatcher, and also worked with horses. He enjoyed being an auctioneer and horses. 

He is preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Caroline Whitworth; wife: Antoinette Whitworth; siblings: Karen Whitworth, Gordon Whitworth, Naida Lefthand and Rusty Whitworth.

He is survived by Johnathan Whitworth who he raised considered his son; siblings: Darrel Whitworth, Myrna Whitworth, and Lloyd "Bodge" Whitworth; and Clarence and Lilly Whitworth who he considered his grandchildren.

Services are to be held at Arlee Community Center with a Wake beginning Thursday, October 10, 2024, Traditional Salish Rosary Friday, October 11, 2024 at 8p.m., and Funeral Service Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11 a.m.
