Robin Charlton-Fry Obituary

Robin Marie Charlton-Fry, age 62, passed away at Hot Springs, Montana on the evening of November 10, 2025.

Robin was born August 5th 1963 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to her parents Bobby Boyd Charlton and Virginia Lee Pickens.  She grew up in a variety of locations, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.  Robin was a studious and naturally inquisitive child growing up and very intelligent and talented.  Her intelligence and drive were exhibited when she graduated early from Twin Falls High School at 16 years old.

Upon graduation, Robin became a nanny in New York where she worked and lived for a few years. She returned to Idaho and earned her LPN degree and license from Idaho State University.  She went on to work in a variety of nursing homes and home health care. This field of education and career became a foundation for her to serve others.  Robin was very compassionate in her service to others and especially to those in recovery in her later years.  Robin also owned Sabine Florist in St. Ignatius.  Once again where her compassion and generosity got in the way of a smart business plan.

Robin had a creative talent that showed in her flower arrangements, writing, poems, songs, crafts and recently social media as ‘Witch of the Woods’. Her posts created an impressive following on social media where she shared her efforts to help others, tell stories and poems that entertained, lifted the hearts and gave hope to many.

Robin is proceeded in death by Tom Fry (husband), Virginia Pickens Cornelius (Mother), Bobby Charlton (Father), Esther and James Pickens (Maternal Grandparents), Wavie and Earl Charlton (Paternal Grandparents).

She is survived by her sons, Dominique Charlton and Sam Schmitz , sisters Sheri Nordstrom(Brian), Nita Giles(David), brothers Bobby Charlton(Tami), James Greene(Linette), step-father Edwin Cornelius(Iris), and of course her fur-baby ‘Lucy Lou’.
