Terry W. Gray

Terry Wayne Gray, 80, passed away on May 27, 2025 in Great Falls, MT. Terry, affectionately known as Joe, was born on July 16, 1944 in Browning, MT to Alma Augare & Robert Gray. Terry was raised in Babb, attending boarding school since 1st grade and went to High School in Browning. He was on his varsity basketball team and graduated in 1963. Terry married Colleen Cato on February 9, 1968. Terry served 2 years in the Army at Fort California and Fort Hood Texas. Terry loved to spend his pastime in the mountains, visiting with family, sports, casino, fishing, bowling, going to powwows to watch his grandbabies dance, rides on the side-by-side, bartending at Pioneer Bar, pool league and being a softball coach. Terry love his grandbabies, they were everything to him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; Robert Gray & Alma Augare.

Terry is survived by wife; Colleen Gray. His children; Shawna Gray, Shelly(John) Lighthizer, and Teri Lynn Gray(Joe Mann). Grandchildren; Derek Gray, Jonathan Lighthizer, Tanner Lighthizer(Jennifer Vaile), Daniel Gage Miller, Anthony Bird, Karson Bird, and Mykelti Clark. Great Grandchildren; Mina Gray, Khloe Stokes, Raidyn Bird, Keyonna Gray, Kellin Bird, Chaiten Reardon, and Memphis Wolf Tail. Sibling; Bryce Gray, Buddy Gray, Faye Gray(Jackon), Leona Gray(Guardipee), Chuck Gray(Whitsy), Vivian Gray(Braverock), and Bill Harmon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life & Viewing will be held June 5-7, 2025 at Glacier Homes in Browning, MT. Any donations should be made to Gift of Life in Great Falls, MT in memory of Terry Gray.
