Theodore "Ted" Sias Sr

Theodore “Ted” James Sias Sr., 82, of Ronan, Montana, passed away on December 10, 2025. Born as an enrolled Salish tribal member, he was raised in Ronan and graduated from Ronan High School. He lived a hardworking life as a rancher, forester, mechanic, and lifelong learner. He also attended Bible College in Minnesota.

Ted is preceded in death by his only son, Theodore James Sias Jr. (TJ), great-granddaughter Aliyah, his parents, brothers, sister, and many other loved ones.

He is survived by his daughter Eddilee, grandchildren Dillon (Melissa) Boulanger, Terrace (Kiera) Sias, Theron (Angela) Sias, Tiffany (Reese) Lee, and great-grandchildren Henlee, Phoenix, Leon, Aden, Aleki, Athena, Leona, Memphis, and Krista (Brenden).

Ted will be remembered for his love of cattle, horses, logging, football, and his quick wit and humor. Celebration of Life will be held on December 18th at Club Bar in Ronan from 12:00pm-3:00pm potluck style.
